A soldier's Life

Scratches? They are nothing compared to the danger they are facing every second of their lives. Danger is their daily meal. Aren't they afraid? Yes they are afraid too. That's the answer of my brother who is a soldier. He said, getting scare is normal as long as you have presence of mind. Never the less, fear will disappear in the midst of rigid fighting, much more when you saw some soldiers wounded in the fight. The feeling of fear will be replaced by bravery because you are not fighting for your country only, but, for your co-soldiers and for your life as will. He said, when they have operation, their steps have to be soundless and move faster like lightning. Otherwise, they will get killed. They have to be keened and calmed, or else, they will get into trap. They sleep like chicken and have to be vigilant like dog. If not, they might be captured by their enemies. That is why, the moment each soldier is with his family, he always treasures it. By the time he steps out from the house, he considers himself dead already. The reality of the soldier's life is, his other foot is leading him towards seven feet beneath the ground.
