I have been to the Scottsdale many times as I have family there. There is always plenty to see at the winter outdoor festivals. Anytime except the summer is great for sightseeing. Outside of the area you can travel easily to Prescott, Flagstaff, Tucson and the Grand Canyon. Plan on at least a week here to see everything. If you are a golfer, almost all the large hotels have golf courses and of course outdoor pools. There is also plenty of great shopping for the ladies at the great malls in Scottsdale. During winter months, daytime temperatures may average 70 degrees F, with night temperatures often falling to freezing or slightly below in the lower desert valleys. In the summer the pine-clad forests in the central part of the state may have afternoon temperatures of 80 degrees F, while night temperatures drop to 35 or 40 degrees F. Buying a property is quite probably the most significant personal expense anyone is likely to make during their lifetime and, with competition fiercer than ever within the market, it’s increasingly difficult for the discerning purchaser to know where to start searching.
